On April 22, Mr. Frederic Laurin – MILA Senior Director of Partnerships visited and worked with the Board of Directors and staff of FPT Software Quy Nhon. During the high-level meeting, Mr. Frederic Laurin was welcomed by the Board of Directors of FPT Software Quy Nhon and shared about the organization’s vision to build AI Valley in Quy Nhon, with the highest aim and ultimately the application of AI to improve the quality of life of Vietnamese people. To achieve that, FPT Software Quy Nhon is taking very right directions, on the one hand promoting the development of AI products/services to solve very specific problems in businesses/organizations in order to improve competitiveness, on the other hand, invest in training many young engineers in artificial intelligence and data science to ensure long-term resources.
Visiting FSOFT Quy Nhon’s office named AI Creative Valley at Science Boulevard – Quy Nhon, Mr. Frederic was introduced by Quy Nhon AI experts to the AI smart product akaCam, with features ranging from identifying people and actions through security cameras, to detecting machining errors on complex machine parts with cameras.
In addition to helping businesses save huge costs in terms of labor compared to implementing with the naked eye, this solution is also aimed at applications such as controlling the number of people entering / leaving, monitoring the expressions of customers to increase service quality… through cameras.
Mr. Frederic expressed his impression of QAI’s solutions both in terms of accuracy and real-time response speed, demonstrating the maturity of the AI model.
